Thank you for your interest in a Lasair puppy.

We breed Hungarian Vizslas (smooth and wirehaired) and Italian Greyhounds. Our purpose with this application is to match each puppy to the right home, which depends as much on honesty about your circumstances as it does on enthusiasm for the breed.

We recommend you read our General Information page and our Terms of Sale before completing this application. The form takes around fifteen minutes. We do not need lengthy answers to most questions — we need honest ones.

Breeding and registration

Most of our puppies are sold on the limited register, which means the dog cannot be bred from or shown in conformation. Standard main register sales (with breeding rights) and discounted main register sales (with retained breeding rights and joint ownership) are made on a more selective basis and are described in our Terms of Sale.

Honesty about your life

Most of the mismatches we see are not about the dog. They are about people who were not entirely honest, with themselves or with us, about the life they actually live. Looking at your life as it is now (not as you would like it to be), is there anything you would want us to know? A frank answer here makes the matching process work — it does not disqualify you.

Examples: alone-time longer than ideal on some days; schedule more variable than it sounds; thinking about being more active but not started yet; child needing more attention than the puppy will; likely to move house in the next year; never lived with a dog of this energy level.
